Artists already give up 10% to 20% of their pay on most booking sites. We think the people doing the performing should keep all of it, so the booking fee is paid by the venue or event host, added on top of the artist fee and shown on every quote.
Only when you confirm an act. Requests and shortlists are free. Once you confirm, we email a Stripe invoice for the fee that you can pay online by card or bank transfer, due within 7 days or before the show date if that is sooner.
You pay the artist directly under your performance agreement, usually on show day or as the agreement says. Music to Venue only invoices its booking fee.
If the artist cancels, or the show cannot happen for reasons outside your control, we refund the booking fee or apply it to a replacement act. If you cancel at least 14 days before the show, the fee is refunded. Inside 14 days it is non refundable.
Yes, and we hope you do. Rebook through Music to Venue and the same fee applies. Booking an artist you met here directly within 12 months of the introduction still carries the booking fee, as our Terms explain.
No. Creating a profile, receiving requests and getting booked are free, and we take no commission from your fee. Founding artists also get featured placement free for 12 months.
Seasons, concert series, fairs and festivals pay 12% of each confirmed act fee, or a flat season fee agreed up front starting at $2,500. We plan the full lineup with you and stay your single point of contact.
