About Total Distortion
Total Distortion was formed to pay homage to Social Distortion, one of America's first 1970s punk rock bands. Based in San Diego, Total Distortion was started by Don Vercelli, a singer with a voice that is eerily similar to that of Social D front man Mike Ness. Backed by his fellow band members Chris Cunningham, Shawn Barry and Angel Elias, Vercelli has led Total Distortion onstage to pay homage to Social D in venues throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. Total Distortion is a tribute act. Total Distortion is not associated, affiliated, endorsed by, or sponsored by Social Distortion, and no such association is claimed or implied. All artist names, trademarks, and song titles are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely to identify the music performed.
Songs include: Making Believe, Reach For the Sky, Ring Of Fire, Highway 101, When She Begins, I was Wrong, Story Of My Life, Another State Of Mind, Don’t think Twice, Bad Luck, Far Behind, Ball & Chain.
